When to pay
Tuition and fees must be paid by the posted due date. If you pay late, your account may be charged interest, late fees, and could be subject to account holds that affect your access to services.

What happens if you miss a payment
You will be charged late fees and interest
Your account may be restricted if your balance is $100 or more
Unpaid balances can affect your registration, transcripts, and graduation
Late registration fee
You are expected to register and pay your fees on or before the specified registration dates.
If you register after these dates, you must receive approval from the Registrar.听
If you have a balance of $100 or more, a $50 late registration fee will apply.
This applies if registration and payment are not completed by the deadline, regardless of funding source.
Late registration fee waiver听
You can request a waiver of the late registration fee. Your waiver will not be considered until your account is paid in full, including the late registration and interest.

What happens if your account is overdue (30+ days)
If your account remains unpaid and you have a balance of $100 or more, your account will be placed on hold. This means:
Access to certain university services may be removed, including access to transcripts and the ability to register for your next term
Your status will be reinstated upon payment of the outstanding fees, arrears, interest, and a $50.00 reinstatement fee.

If you鈥檙e graduating
If you have an overdue balance, it may affect your ability to graduate on time. To receive your parchment at convocation, your account must be paid by:听
April 15 (spring convocation)
September 1 (fall convocation)
Accounts that remain unpaid for an extended period may be sent to collections, and you may be responsible for any related costs.听
If your payment is returned
If a cheque is returned by your bank as non-negotiable, a $20 service charge will be added to your account. Your account will be considered unpaid.
Returned tuition payments听
If the bank returns a cheque that was to cover payment of tuition:
Your registration may be cancelled
If you are permitted to re-register, a late registration fee may apply.
How interest is charged
Interest is charged at an annual rate of 12%. Interest is assessed weekly and compounded monthly.
