Female Athlete of the Week Veronica Deno

Veronica battled through injury during the last weekend of play and was a pivotal piece of the Rams 4pt weekend. In the first contest against UNBSJ, she had several key tackles on Seawolves on route to the keeper.  In the STU contest her consistent defending kept her team within reach during the first half until the Rams offense kicked in the second half. Her aggressive play, strong tackles and tireless efforts helped to improve the Rams record and clinch 1st place in the ACAA.  

Male Athlete of the Week Justin Thorne

Justin played an exceptional 180 minutes on the wing for the Rams this past weekend in what is often a thankless role. His hustle on the pitch was contagious amongst his teammates and his ability both in attack and defense did not go unnoticed by any. His hard work was rewarded Sunday when he calmly chipped the ball over the keeper and into the net for the only goal in a 1-0 victory.
