Description: Adapted from the Digital Skills for Women+ (DS4W+) curriculum, this talk will share recent tech employment trends in Nova Scotia, discuss pathways to breaking into tech, and present considerations and tips when transitioning into a tech career. DS4W+ has helped 700 women+ in Nova Scotia take the first step on their journey into tech, and co-founder Laura Hawkins aims to share inspiration and success stories from the program with the College of Digital Transformation Summer School students as they envision their own careers.
