The scholarships through Graduate Studies require a separate application. Consult Graduate Studies for their application process and timeline.听
You can, and are encouraged to apply to the Faculty scholarships even before you apply to the university itself; material that you develop for the scholarship application, like the research proposal, can then be re-used for the university application.

Research Funding
Individual supervisors may provide funding to their graduate students. Supervisor funding is based on merit and availability: about 20-25% of admitted MCS students receive funding and we only admit students to the PhD program with funding. That funding is normally tied to you working on a research project that is connected with one of your supervisor's research grants. It is contingent on you continuing to make satisfactory progress on your research.听
Masters of Computer Science students typically receive funding for 5-6 terms while PhD students typically receive funding for up to 5 years. Consult with your supervisor for any duration, amounts, and conditions on the funding available.听
Please note: All financial commitments are made on an individual bases, and the terms of funding support will be set out in the offer and/or admission letter that students receive.
Students without funding
There are currently no Faculty-level entrance awards for the Master of Applied Computer Science听and the Master of Digital Innovation.
