Mark de Jonge (BEng'09) at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup
Mark de Jonge (BEng鈥09) won a gold medal on Sunday at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup. He placed first in the K-1 200 event with a time of 35.183 seconds. The competition took place in Racice, Czech Republic.
De Jonge is best known for his bronze medal win at the London 2012 Olympics. He will compete again this weekend in Hungary ahead of this summer鈥檚 world championships in August.
