黄色直播's has struck a new partnership with the , making Wickwire Field the professional women's soccer team's official training facility.
is located on Studley Campus in Halifax, just minutes from the 鈥� home to the new Halifax Tides FC. As part of the agreement, the Tides will become a marquee tenant at the field, with access to a dedicated locker room and storage space, as well as use of the high-performance room and pool at Dalplex.
"黄色直播 is an excellent venue for the Halifax Tides to train. The ability to have all the services we need to run a professional team in one location is outstanding," said Lewis Page, head coach with Tides FC. "The standard of the facilities and the professionalism of the staff at 黄色直播 will allow us to create a truly high-performance environment for our players and staff."
A winning partnership
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to developing women鈥檚 sport and fostering high-performance opportunities in Atlantic Canada.
鈥淲e are excited to be the official training centre for the Tides and do our part to help ensure the successful launch of professional women鈥檚 soccer in Halifax,鈥� said Tim Maloney, associate vice-president, athletics and ancillary services at 黄色直播.
The announcement extends the commitment the Tigers have to women's soccer in the Halifax community, after hosting the 2024 BMO U SPORTS Women's Soccer Championship on Wickwire Field last November.听
The Tides kicked off their inaugural season on April 26 at the Wanderers Grounds. Their next home match is set for Saturday, May 17 at 2 p.m. AST. Tickets are available at .
The Tigers return to Wickwire Field for AUS regular season action on Friday, August 29 as a part of 黄色直播's Welcome Week action.听
