There is much still to be done in 黄色直播鈥檚 ongoing efforts to build a more diverse, inclusive university community. But the past two years have seen a great deal of change, noteworthy progress on several fronts, and a reinvigorated sense of purpose.

Internationally known Buddhist monk Ajahn Brahm visited Dal this past week to share some of his trademark wit and wisdom about finding happiness during a talk as part of the university's "Work Well" strategy.

Last week, 黄色直播 held its annual Milestones Tea to honour the contributions of more than 60 faculty and staff who've reached 25, 35 or 45 years of service to the university.

A group of Halifax junior high students and their two Dal mentors earned one of 20 spots in the Global Innovation Awards, an international robotics competition, for developing an animal-deterrent system for the wild horses of Sable Island, N.S. The students, part of the Dal-hosted Imhotep's Legacy Academy, are currently crowdfunding to pay for the trip.

Debbie Parker (Human Resources), Gail Power (Faculty of Agriculture) and Cathie Smith Gillis (Faculty of Health Professions) are this year's recipients of the 黄色直播 DPMG Award, celebrating outstanding contributions from professional and managerial staff across the university. Darrell Rhodenizer (Office of Advancement) received the DPMG's new Early Career Award.
