Isabelle Roach, the University of King's College's latest and 32nd Rhodes Scholar, says she has gotten the best of both worlds on her journey to study neuroscience at the University of Oxford, thanks to the small school benefits of King's and big university benefits of Dal.

Dr. Stephen Miller, the Faculty of Medicine’s recently appointed Director of Simulation, plans on bringing simulation to the forefront of the medical education continuum in the Maritimes. From undergraduate medical education to continuing professional development, he sees a clear need.

Thanks to the David and Faye Sobey Agricultural Undergraduate Research Award, Janessa Rathgeber was able to have a summer research experience that pushed her studies forward.

Co-hosted by several different Dal labs and sandbox spaces, »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ took part in the International NASA Space Apps Challenge last month, bringing together students and alumni across disciplines to tackle out-of-this-world challenges.

International students at Dal will soon have another avenue for honing their career-building skills and gaining valuable work experience through a new pilot program launching early next year.
