黄色直播 Engineering is proud to offer the Indigenous Pathways Program, a dedicated initiative supporting Indigenous youth on their journey toward careers in engineering.

We are committed to fostering a community that celebrates Indigenous knowledge, culture, and innovation, and we value the unique perspectives and talents Indigenous students bring to the engineering profession.

Program Features

The Indigenous Pathways Program is designed to help Indigenous youth pursue a degree in engineering. The Program offers flexible entry routes for students including our Bridging Program.鈥�

Bridging Program听

The Indigenous Pathways Program includes a bridging year for
students who are interested in pursuing engineering but may not
meet all of the requirements of admissions. The program is tailored
to strengthen your skills and prepare you for success in engineering.
Students in the Bridging Program can upgrade courses and at the
same time earn credits towards their engineering degree.

Hands-On Learning鈥�
At 黄色直播 Engineering we offer some of the top hands-on learning opportunities in Canada, with a strong focus on experiential learning. Through the Indigenous Pathways Program, you鈥檒l engage in co-op placements and community-based projects, applying your skills in real-world settings. You鈥檒l explore engineering concepts through projects that blend traditional knowledge with modern practices, while accessing state-of-the-art labs and technologies.听
Advising and Mentorship听
Students in the Indigenous Pathways Program will have the opportunity to connect with mentors who understand the unique challenges of being an Indigenous student in engineering. Our dedicated support services are tailored to meet your specific needs, ensuring you have the guidance necessary for your academic journey.听听

Daisy Peter-Paul is dedicated to supporting Indigenous students on their academic journey and helps connect students with cultural supports and opportunities for personal and professional growth, including scholarships, mentoring, and internships.

Program Eligibility听


To be eligible for the Pathways Program, students must:听

  • Identify as Indigenous
  • Completion of a high school diploma

Community Support

鈥粕辈� is home to a growing Indigenous community that offers supports and spaces to connect with peers including the Indigenous Student Centre. Here you鈥檒l find resources and support for academic success and personal growth.听

Students also benefit from a support system through our diverse鈥�, and our鈥�Elders in Residence.听
