The Child Language, Literacy and Cognition (CLIC) Lab is located on the 2nd floor of the Sir Charles Tupper Medical Building in Rooms 2C24 and 2C35. These rooms house doctoral students, master鈥檚 students and research assistants supervised by the lead researcher, Dr. Gonzalez-Barrero. Testing with children and their caregivers is conducted in Room 2C17.
Research interests:
Child language development, cognitive development, literacy development, bilingualism, multilingualism, cultural and linguistic diversity, assessment, intervention, developmental conditions (Autism, Developmental Language Disorder, ADHD).
Prospective Master鈥檚 and PhD students:
Prospective Master's and PhD students are encouraged to contact faculty members whose research interests align with their own. We welcome inquiries from motivated students interested in contributing to innovative research in communication sciences and disorders.
