Hearing Aid Assistance Program
The 黄色直播 Hearing Aid Assistance Program (DHAAP) offers hearing loss assessments and provides hearing aid services to adults who receive聽Income Assistance Benefits (IA)聽from the Government of Nova Scotia.聽You must have a caseworker through the NS Department of Opportunities and Social Development in order to qualify.
You do not need to be referred by a doctor to qualify for the program. Simply reach out to your caseworker for an application or you can contact us directly by email at聽dhaap@dal.ca聽or by phone 902-494-2978.
If your application is accepted, approved audiologist services - including hearing aids - will be provided at no cost. Follow up appointments will be scheduled to make sure everything is working well. If you need transportation to the appointments, speak with your caseworker as you may qualify for medical transportation.
