Schulich Law Associate Professor Violet Ford was recently named the Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in Circumpolar Indigenous Marine Governance and International Law.
Violet Ford (LLB '91), an expert in Indigenous rights, environmental stewardship, and cultural preservation, joined the Schulich School of Law earlier this year as an associate professor.
Associate Professor Liam McHugh-Russell is the inaugural Innis Christie Chair in Labour and Employment Law and Associate Professor Sara Ross is the new Yogis and Keddy Chair in Human Rights Law.
