Investing in social change
Lars Boggild (Honours BA 2013: ESS & POLI) is an impact investment professional working with Realize Capital Partners to raise and invest one of the largest social impact funds in Canadian history.听
Making music and UpLifting youth
Alex Coley (BSc 2017: ESS & BIO) has released his first album with band Alex Coley & Afterlove, all while working with health literacy program UpLift to support youth projects in schools.听
Turning awareness into action
Alexa Goodman (BSc 2017: Marine Science & ESS) is 黄色直播鈥檚 sustainability manager, overseeing campus sustainability operations and providing private consulting on ocean 鈥済host gear鈥.听
Bridging the gap between government and citizens听
Simone Massoud (BMgmt 2013: ESS) heads the BC Public Service鈥檚 Citizen Engagement team, supporting public engagement initiatives that impact both government decision-making and public reception of those decisions.
Helping scientists reach international audiences听
Olivia Rempel (BJH 2015: ESS) is a digital video expert for Norwegian non-profit GRID-Arendal, shooting and producing science videos and teaching invaluable media skills to environmental scientists.
Developing solutions through consultation and leadership
After an unexpected pivot in her plans, Divya Thomas (Honours BA 2021: POLI & ESS) is completing her MPA at 黄色直播 and embarking on a new career in consulting.
