As organizations become increasingly dependent on complex, interconnected systems, the ability to keep those systems secure, resilient and operational is more important than ever. The Certificate in Systems Security Engineering provides a practical, engineering-based approach to building security and resilience into complex IT and operational technology systems from the very beginning. You’ll learn how to identify security and cybersecurity requirements, design systems that can withstand disruptions and threats, and assess whether they can continue to deliver critical business or mission outcomes under adverse conditions. This certificate is ideal for engineers, project managers, technologists, analysts and other professionals working with complex systems.  It will help you develop the systems-thinking skills needed to design, integrate and maintain secure, resilient systems while managing risk and long-term costs.
