After our international project commitments have been met, reservations made by campus members and visitors are on a first-come, first-served basis.Ìý International may cancel a reservation up to one month prior to arrival.

Suite has one single bed, one double bed, and full private ensuite bath. Standard room has two single beds and a shared bath.
Minimum stay is two nights; maximum is eight weeks.Ìý If there is availability after eight weeks, then there is potential for an extension of stay - this is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Accommodation is intended for short term stays only; priority is given to international development project guests, visiting scholars, faculty, staff, researchers and postgraduate students.

Located in a residential area of , it is within a few minutes walking distance from the main AC campus.Ìý The house provides guests with the opportunity to live in a Canadian neighborhood and experience our culture and daily living.
Our staff is pleased to give guests an orientation on the day-to-day operation of the house and will conduct this as soon as possible after arrival.

Common/Shared Spaces
The house has a shared kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, and laundry room.Ìý These are available for all guests' use. Guests are expected to keep shared spaces clean and tidy for all guests' shared use.
Kitchen/Dining/Living Areas
The kitchen is a fully-equipped space where guests can store their food and prepare their meals. The dining room is located just off the kitchen, adjacent to the living room, where guests can relax and socialize. The television has a wide variety of channels available and there is a desk located in this area as well.
Bathrooms
The house has two bathrooms - a full private bath with the premium room and a second full bath that is open to all guests. The shared bath also contains a compact washer and dryer set for guests to use.Ìý
Bedrooms
There are two bedrooms. One premium room equipped with one single and one double bed and an ensuite bath; and one standard room with two single beds. Each room is equipped with a small fridge. Bed linens and towels are provided.Ìý
Laundry
There is a compact washer and dryer set located in the shared washroom for small loads; for medium to large loads there is a full-size washer/dryer set in the basement. There is no additional charge for laundry access.
Telephone and internet
There is a telephone in the house for local calls. Wireless internet is provided free of charge, and we ask that guests observe »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥'s Computer Use Policy.
Smoking and pets
The International Guest House is a non-smoking facility. An open-air smoking area is available outside the house. Pets are not allowed.

Check-in and check-out
You will need to sign out a key to the house during your stay. You can pick up your keys during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). You can also make arrangements to pick up keys outside of regular business hours in advance if necessary.
To make arrangements to pick up a key, please contact the administrative assistant by phone at 902-893-6514. There is a $100 replacement fee for lost keys.Ìý

After you arrive, one of our staff members will help you get oriented and review the house procedures with you.
Check-out must be by 11:00 a.m. on your departure day; the key must be returned to the »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ AC International Office by 11:00 a.m..Ìý If a later check-out time is needed, contact the Administrative Assistant at michelle.richards@dal.ca to make arrangements.Ìý Please note that late checkout charges may apply.
