Barley Party

Two students sit at a table smiling, with their fists raised to display their Barley Rings.

Each spring the alumni engagement office hosts the most anticipated event of the year for graduating students – Barley Party!

All graduating students are invited to this event to celebrate the end of classes and the beginning of your status as an alum of the Faculty of Agriculture. Students who ordered a Barley Ring during Ring Days are presented with their ring at this exciting event.

Honorary recipients

As part of Barley Party celebrations, an Honorary Barley Ring is presented each year. Honorary rings are awarded to individuals who do not meet the criteria to be eligible for a Barley Ring but who are extremely deserving of the honour.

These individuals are ambassadors and supporters of the institution who have made outstanding contributions to the Faculty of Agriculture community.

Honorary ring nominations can be made by:

  • Faculty of Agriculture Alumni Association Board of Directors

  • Faculty of Agriculture Senior Leadership

  • »ÆÉ«Ö±²¥ Agricultural Students’ Association.
