Undergraduate

As a student on ��ɫֱ��’s beautiful Agricultural Campus in Truro, NS, you will get to explore the outdoors and interact with our natural environment.

Learn how to take field samples and analyse them yourself in our state-of-the-art laboratories. Our entomological wet, dry and dedicated teaching collections contain more than 31,567 identified insect specimens from the Maritime Provinces, South America and Britain. Our herbarium houses more than 13,000 specimens with a specialized quick reference collection designed for hands-on learning.

Certificates

Post-baccalaureate certificate

Food Bioscience

The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Food Bioscience will train you to become an expert in the areas of food science, nutraceutical sciences and research methods, and will equip you to contribute to sustainable regional and global agri-food systems, human and animal health.

This certificate is open to students who possess a Bachelor of Science or similar degree in any natural science or applied life science field with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 in the last two years of undergraduate studies.

Integrated Pest Management

The Certificate in Integrated Pest Management explores the importance of managing many different kinds of pests – insects, weeds, and pathogens - that affect our natural and agricultural ecosystems.

This certificate is open to students eligible for admission to or enrolled in a BSc or BSc (Agr) program at either of ��ɫֱ��’s Halifax or Truro campuses.
