Extended Learning works together with the agriculture industry to bring you a variety of training courses that include professional development opportunities, online and distance courses, certifications, and university credit or preparatory courses.

Credit vs. non-credit courses鈥攚hat's the difference?

Credit courses聽count toward a university degree and appear on your academic transcript.

Non-credit courses聽don鈥檛 count toward a degree but often offer a certificate of achievement upon completion. In some cases, you can choose whether to take a course for credit or not鈥攄epending on your goals.

Don't need university credits? The following Faculty of Agriculture courses are available as continuing education for farmers, agricultural professionals, and others who are interested.聽

Note: Fall term refers to September- December and winter terms refers to January- April.聽 Summer term refers to July and August.聽

Indigenous Student Access Pathway

This one-year program offers First Nations, M茅tis and Inuit students an opportunity to complete university courses in our culturally supportive and friendly campus community in Truro, Nova Scotia.
